WHAT'S UP WITH THE YEAR 2012?

When someone asks me what's up with the year 2012, the supposed end of the Mayan Calendar, I tell them that if you have been used to looking for selfless answers to troublesome questions inside yourself all these years, there is nothing to fear. However, there are some big changes that have already hit us like a ton of bricks: the green backs ain't worth what they used to be. Which is my way of saying that if you have been trying to lay up treasures on earth, you've been barking up the wrong tree. From my Southern sensibility I know that we are in an ongoing major cataclysmic shift in Consciousness. If you are ready to love your brothers and sisters regardless of race, creed or color; if you are prepared to sacrifice so that all of us can be fed and sheltered; and if  you are committed to live justly, love mercy and walk humbly with the God of your own understanding, 2012 will be a piece of double-layered lemon-curd cake dripping hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream on top. In other words, 2012 will be the beginning of true heaven on earth.
