Greetings Friends!Enjoy the Cancer Astrology Newsletter for 2010!Beware the Ides of March. Caesar was warned and my caveat to all of the signs this planetary cycle is watch out for those Eclipses! There is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 4 degrees of Capricorn on June 26th which affects most directly and oftentimes upsettingly Capricorns and Cancers, and to a lesser degree Aries and Libra. The Lunar Eclipse signals the end of something that has been impeding these signs. I remind you that there was a Solar Eclipse New Moon at 25 degrees of Capricorn on January 14th. Eclipses usually have more powerful affects from one eclipse to the next. There will be a Solar Eclipse New Moon at 19 degrees of Cancer on July 11th which will again affect most powerfully Cancer and Capricorn, and to a lesser degree Aries and Libra. Solar Eclipse New Moons tend to be more life-changing, and as we all know we oftentimes fight and resist changes. What we resist often persists. My counsel to those in the Cardinal Signs, those mentioned above, would be to go with the flow. Lunar Eclipses signal endings and Solar Eclipses new beginnings. Uranus, the planet of sudden upsets and breakthroughs will retrograde back into Pisces on July 6th. When planets are retrograde there tends to be a reprieve from the more drastic aspect of the retrograde planet.

NEW! The paperback edition of You're Not Who You Think You Are has arrived!

ARIES (March 21 – April 20) You tricksters in the Sign of Aries must remember that if you try to sell the Brooklyn Bridge you might run into the Municipal Landlord who will remind your patsy that it's not for sale. Be true to your best ideas and make sure what you are suggesting or trying to promote is worth the paper the plan is written on. This month you should be able to pick up momentum and get to where you need to go. Pre-qualify your customers before you spring for Chateaubriand.
LEO (July 23 – August 22) You must be feeling a sigh of relief now that Mars has left Leo after lingering and clanging and banging against everything you hold dear. Now you can go back to being the Lord or Lady of the manor and let the rest of the world go by. You are famous for risk taking--you might want to sell off and sit on the sidelines until after the unstable market corrects itself one more time. This might be the time to take a much needed vacation that doesn't cost too much. Stay close to home.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20) With your ruler Jupiter going retrograde in Aries July 23, you might get a head start in adjusting to your usual wild and wooly life slowing down a lot. I always recommend taking a life inventory a couple of times a year and this is the time for that soul searching. No one ever stops you for long, but it is time to evaluate what you are doing and with whom you are doing it. Stick to what you've got until Jupiter goes direct November 18.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 20) Your ruler Venus will be in Leo squaring you this solar cycle. My suggestion would be to smell the roses, celebrate life by prying open your resistance to new ideas and concepts and definitely staying out of the stock market and other games of chance. It is true that latter degree Taurus has been benefitting by Saturn back in Virgo. Sun in Cancer this cycle is a big boon to you as well. But the devil is in the details. Read and reread all documents carefully. Do not let your usual caution trip you up. I repeat: your ruler Venus is challenging you this month!
VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) Now that Mars has come crashing into Virgo don't let all the hustle and bustle of Martian energy upset your calmer world. You have survived Saturn being in your sign for two and a half years (and it is still disturbing those of you born from September 20 - 23 and will be gone for good for the next 30 years!) so monitor how you feel and ask the committee in your head to speak one at a time. All in all, you benefit tremendously from the Eclipses.
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19) You might want to rent the DVD of The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus to see what a topsy turvy world looks like through the lens of a far-out writer and director. With all these eclipses this year, just when you think you are ready to act on an idea, the earth moves and you have to start over. From my point of view, since you rule structure and order, the effects of 2012 are starting in your neck of the woods. We are living in a time where consequences of our bad behavior are being exposed. Get back to the drawing board.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) Your ruler, Mercury is in Cancer/Leo this Solar Cycle so you are relatively safe from pain and suffering. Early degree Geminis, May 23 - 29, have been benefitting royally from Jupiter and Uranus in early degrees of Aries—and you got the mild trends from Leo in Mars. You can still lay tracks and you are relatively free of a Sirocco effect blowing down your house, but know that you live on the planet and we are all having to look within to see what we need to do to dance to the music of the Divine.
LIBRA (September 23 – October 23) You would have had to be living under a rock not to find yourself in the midst of a lot of confusion and insecurity in the stock market this year. The Eclipses have had a lot to do with the instability. But you Libras love peace and balance. Perhaps when Saturn moves back into Libra July 22 you will feel more like dealing with what you really want out of life. My counsel to you would be to hold to what you've got and get back into whatever is not working in September.
AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17) It is time for you Water Bearers to get real creative in order to help save the world. Ok, so I am being the dramatic Piscean, but you need to move further out of the box to channel what we must do and when, in order to stabilize the planet or it will soon be the end of the world as we know it. Nobody cares for Mankind quite like you do. Show us how to care more for those who are homeless and hungry than we do about our IRAs or 401K’s. It is later than we think and the countdown has begun.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22) May I remind you Crabs that you are known to be rather volatile and moody, so with all these Eclipses you had better stabilize as many things as possible this planetary cycle. As the old tar would express it, "Batten down the hatches, mate!" But I would caution you not to keep holding onto what is now over and done. It may be time to sell your homestead and move on. Do a thorough inventory to make sure it's not a relationship that is ending.
SCORPIO (October 24 – November 21) You private and somewhat secretive Scorpios are going to find out that there is going to be a new twist on what you have always wanted in life but your timing was wrong. Now you are ready to fly with a working parachute in case you decide to bail out of something that stops working. You are not known to make swift moves, but if you could ever trust your instincts it is this summer. Get ready to have life work on all cylinders.
PISCES (February 18 – March 20) If you don't make hay from the Solar Eclipse New Moon at 19 degrees of Cancer on July 11 don't say that you weren't given the go ahead from planetary alignment for what's in your vivid imagination. Trust your creative instincts just like Verdi and Michelangelo did and create something we will all love and adore and help to inspire us. Play like you are on The Price is Right and Johnny Olsen has just hollered, "Come on Down and play the game. It is your turn and your time."
