A New Book Coming December 6, 2006
Albert's new book - Coming in Sept '06

by Albert Clayton Gaulden
Author of Signs and Wonders

Foreword by James Redfield
Author of The Celestine Prophecy

The new publication date for this exciting new book is December 6, 2006.

The Dialogue

On October 14th I met in Washington DC with a journalist from Taiwan, Tin-yu Chen who found me through the Sedona Intensive website months ago. Ms. Chen was in Washington covering a conference at the World Bank. Her motive for asking me to Washington was to interview me for public television in Taiwan, to write a book review of You’re Not Who You Think Your Are as well as to do an article about me and my work for Self Magazine in Chinese. Tin-yu is smart, beautiful and concerned about the world and how it needs to come together for peace and a cleaner environment.

I was invited to have lunch with her and Atem Ramsundersingh and his wife and children as well as two water technician men from Holland and a cameraman from Taiwan. Mr. Ramsundersingh is on the World Bank and Chairman of the Board of the Foundation China-Europe Dialogue & Exchange for Sustainable Development, which in plainer terms is a platform to help China with water management and other environmental issues.
This prototype will work for all countries in the world battling shortage and contamination of water, like in the Sudan. He invited me to the world conference in April 2007.

I agreed to go to China because the underpinning of the Foundation’s purpose is dialogue—getting input from all those who attend the conference—hearing what everyone has to say and taking it into consideration.

In my own life I have taught and practiced servant leadership—to take one’s power back—and to be personally responsible for one’s actions. Continuing to look to the heads of State and spiritual authorities to solve the world’s problems, like water conservation and purification, is not the way to engage the world. Dialogue, not speechifying, is the path to resolution.

The Signs of the Times

The Sun moving into Scorpio on October 23 sets the tone for the late October/November planetary cycles. These thirty days are a stark reminder to seek the middle ground in all our affairs rather than see-sawing as Scorpios tend to do. Make a Scorpio mad and watch them bring out their artillery to drive you out of their lives. Meditate before you act. There are always two points of view and they both should be heard. Rather than all or nothing, let’s all try to balance options and take a little from one point of view and a bit more from another. All or nothing always breaks hearts and disappoints. Don’t forget, we play by the rules of Scorpio this month so practice restraint of tongue and pen.

A New Moon at 28 degrees of Scorpio conjunct Jupiter on November 20th promises a time for healing old wounds and hurts as well as financial pay-outs. Forgiveness is the path to clearing.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Virgo

With Sun, Venus, Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio this month, go for the gold if you’re ever going to make a move. In addition to banking a lot of bucks, take time to give thanks and clear up old disputes. Around the 10th of November, an old flame might rekindle. Keep your eyes and ears open for a little night music.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20)

VirgoYou’re champing at the bit to begin your year-long ride with Jupiter in your Sun sign. After November 22, take lady luck by the hand and lay tracks for a more stable life. Being foot loose has a down side—when everyone else is retiring with a fat 401K you’re still catching waves. Take one of those bright ideas and build a future with it.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19)

VirgoWhile everyone is looking the other way, you are quietly and unobtrusively laying the foundation for your new home or business venture. Take a tip from one who knows: late October and November is a perfect time to move from the blueprint to ground breaking. You’ll find a new lending source with a fair rate around October 25th; if not, try again November 20.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17)

VirgoDon’t abandon the air waves just because the planets in Scorpio are causing you a lot of static. From the day you were born you have had an agenda that matched no one else’s. Try a little patience—December will be better. This Thanksgiving thank God for who and what you didn’t have to put up with.

PISCES (February 18 – March 20)

VirgoIf your chaotic life is praying for a break from all of the shake, rattle and roll, get used to the confusion—Uranus will be around for three more years. By that time you’ll feel like one of the chosen. Thank God for a vivid imagination—write an opera or the story of your life. God is just doing for you what you wouldn’t do for yourself.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20)

VirgoCan you stand it? Saturn keeps blessing your most outrageous ideas. Opportunity seems to knock on your door daily. Watch out for bigshotitis—keep right sized. All of us, most of all you Aries, need to develop a healthy sense of humility and gratitude. This month you can walk, talk and chew gum all at once—soon it’ll be time to chill.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 20)

VirgoDid you ever think that someone was watching you and disapproving? With all those planets in Scorpio, the Universe has you under its microscope. Santa may already be making his list and checking it twice to see how generous you’re going to be with those with the greatest need. Take five and see who needs for you to “receive to share” this month.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

VirgoIf you think you’ve been talking to the wind and getting the cold shoulder, clear your calendar and learn to be alone this month. Thanksgiving is not until November 23rd, so party time is more than a month away. Planets are either inconjuncting you or squaring you. Do something you’re not famous for: sit still and read, write or meditate. ‘Tis the season to be introspective.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

VirgoHaving come out of a cycle when no one’s been listening to you or obeying, now’s your chance to get everybody’s attention. This month bake a cake—no, better still—feed an army. Momma or daddy’s in the kitchen making everything that the kids and their friends love to eat. Your day has come. Everybody’s acting nice ‘cause they’ve come home for the Holidays. Pssst…don’t forget to say grace.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

VirgoNow that you’ve adjusted to Saturn in your sign for more than a year, learn a few new tricks. When someone wants to help you, say “Thank you.” It’s okay to wear your frocks for another season and to budget your Holiday spending. The best news is that if you’ve been nice not naughty this year, 2007 is going to be a bellwether year for you. Your watchword: humility, not humiliation.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

Virgo“One, two, buckle your shoe…” Although people have started to follow your rules, you might want to dialogue with your family and friends rather than preach to them. This is a very powerful and positive time of the year for you. Make hay—change the things you can—because you’ll have little opposition. The square from Pluto in Sagittarius is a mere inconvenience.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

Although the klieg lights have dimmed and you’ve been left to your own devices, you might want to ask around and often, “What can I do for you?” There is nothing as rewarding or as remembered as a kind deed without quid pro quo attached. I will promise you treasures on earth if you think of the other person first. This is a month of soul growth for you Solomans.

As Albert Sees It

Ever since I wrote the short piece on Darfur last month I have been unable to forget the thirsting, hungry and dying men, women and children in the Sudan. My Christmas list is going to include how to send supplies to that region. When I was with Mr. Atem Ramsundersingh in Washington he told me about the Sudanese. When he was there last year, the people gave him and his travelers the best water to drink and it was far from clean.

These people are without and I feel I have so much. If you want to know what to get someone for Christmas this year, send clothes and money for food and water to Darfur.

As Scott Sees It

Have you ever needed to get away from it all?  Just take a break from all the busyness and responsibilities of everyday life?  Well who hasn’t?  But have you taken any action to get that break?

In recent weeks I have been fortunate enough to make two trips into nature, where for me when all else fails, I am guaranteed to find peace and serenity. No phones, no e-mail, no deadlines, no clocks and no rat race. Ah yes, the only noise being the indigenous sounds of Mother Nature.  A weekend in nature goes a long way to help me decompress—hiking, fishing and stargazing are natural antidotes to stress.  Not only does time seem to stop, but mind and soul restoration begins immediately.  It is a prime time for me to reflect on the simple things and what really matters.  I make a conscious choice to have no distractions which isn’t always easy.  If you are a production junkie like me, always needing to be doing something in an effort to not feel guilty, sitting still and having fun takes discipline.

When I take care of myself, which I once thought was extremely selfish, I am not only better for me, I am better for each person with whom I come into contact.  Invariably upon my return home, my only longing is to have had more time to relax and play.  What a wonderful problem to have.

The next time you find yourself on overload, do yourself a favor—go play.  Better still, set out for a long weekend of fun and let the rest of the world go by.

Ask Us

We got a question from a reader: “When someone sends an attachment in an e-mail that says ‘you will have bad luck if you don’t send the message to 20 people,’ is that true?”

Thank you for asking this question. Such an email should be erased or ignored if you don’t resonate with the message. Why would anyone wish you ill because you don’t want to send a message to your friends? We all get a lot of SPAM, and most of us don’t want more than we already get. If you want to pass the attachment along, that’s your business. If you don’t, that’s your business, too. Being able to create ill will because a sender says so, is an old wives tale.

Send us one specific question you want answered and by random drawing, Scott or Albert will give you some insights every month in the Newsletter. Send us your name, month, day, year, exact time and place of birth to info@sedonaintensive.com.
